The onset of an insolvency case, however, turns the otherwise cohesive business into a series of disconnected segments in several different countries. The unconnected remnants of the organization attempt to continue until they either starve or implode. However, recent experience and developments on the horizon hold the promise of significant improvements. This article outlines the current and evolving protocols and judicial practices being made to assist in the revival and rehabilitation of global businesses in financial difficulty. ER -
