AB Sector allocation is a useful tool for constructing sound or superior reward/risk balanced portfolios. Exchange-traded funds (ETFs) might offer a convenient and relatively easy way to achieve sector allocation that can enhance alpha and limit risk. Past performance shows that overweighting or underweighting a small number of sectors can make large differences in performance.
