This risk, coupled with today's industry dynamics, makes it imperative that a company take a proactive approach in monitoring its supply base, rather than waiting for trouble to strike. This article discusses how to recognize supplier risk, industry factors that lead to it, measures to combat it, as well as descriptive case studies that illustrate the positive impact a proactive approach can make.
